IN THE LOOP with Jazzmine Hayes

Welcome to a new feed about up and coming events here on campus! Campus events are one of the easiest ways to get involved, make a difference, and make friends.

Coming soon, celebrate Geek Free Week on the Vern Monday September 29th. Enjoy free food and a movie with new and old friends sponsored by the National Society of Black Engineer (NSBE). Also On September 29th, SAS will be hosting a Welcome event featuring food and prizes.

Tuesday September 30th, Rejoin NSBE for a Dance workshop in the Marvin Center Dance studio at 7pm. Later in the week on Thursday October 2nd, embrace Philippine History Month and snag some ice-cream at 11 am outside of the MSSC Building; and if politics is your cup of tea, head over to the Marvin Center 3rd floor Grand Ballroom at 8:30 pm to catch the Vice Presidential Debate Watch Party thrown by GW’s Program Board. Also on Thursday, NSBE will also host a 4.0 workshop in the Marvin center rooms 402 and 404 explaining the tools you need to help you have an excellent academic semester. Finally, end your week with some HIV/AIDS awareness and support and join the walk on Saturday October 4th, at 7:30 am in front of the MSSC building.

If you ever find yourself out of the loop for on campus events, check this blog featured exclusively in The Ace for all an all-inclusive line up of weekly events.
